Browser Based
Your Internet browser is used to assemble each webpage using a word-processor-like interface and then just select the SAVE button to implement the page into the live Internet - no need to use File Transer Protocol (FTP) software, no need to know pathnames and file structures of the website server! After a quick tour of the web administration interface you will be managing the content of your site yourself! Gone are the delays waiting for technical guys to upgrade your website - you make the content changes happen in a matter of minutes!

Take a look at some of the sites created using the Xplorex Content Management Software (CMS): for a dentist, a trucking company, a hair dresser, purveyor of coffee beans, supplier of e-training materials and a manufacturer of cleaning equipment. Additional Features
The web administration software developed by Xplorex allows web administrators to select one or more features to be used with the website content. Many features need to be requested when the site is initially set-up and come freely "packaged" with access to the software, while some features attract extra charges. Set-up
Initially, experienced staff at MAR will obtain the web facilities you require based on the details you supply on a Website Request form. MAR will then help you with the initial setup showing you the administration "controls". MAR will assist you with some of the initial decisions and we'll even build some of the pages for you. Be assured, further assistance is available while managing your site content - it's only a phonecall or e-mail away!
Pricing
Simple Start-up Package
To cover the costs of administration, setup, "training", and initial advice on design a once-off price of $1500-00 CA is required. Thereafter, for continued use of the Xplorex software, the hosting of the website and ongoing technical support $50-00 CA per month is charged. The one-off cost includes the start-up content noted below, help with establishing up to 5 web-pages, inclusion of up to 20 pictures, defining a menu structure, moving or creating the web site address (also, known as the URL or domain name) and then providing up to 2 hrs per month support over the first 6 months.
Start-up Content
The Simple Start-up Package includes the following features:
- Establish the webspace, disk storage and creation of a new web account
- Unlimited use of the Xplorex software to manage the site content
- Unlimited number of pages for your site
- Storage for site images and linked files
- Provision of separate menu structures for registered and unregistered website users
- Forwarding of website e-mail to a specific external web address
- Selection from over 20 standard website themes
- Facilities to change parts of the website theme
(Additional charges may be incurred if time is needed for the refomatting of images, major changes to color schemes, or assistance in amending the simple package to provide additonal facilities. Work will normally be charged at an hourly rate of approximately $50-00 CA per hour depending on the technical expertise used.)
